System Control Engineer

Group Captain Sebastian Walkyes Tupkop graduated from the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) as Pilot Officer in 1991 and in 1993, went for Officers Engineering School at Air force Institute Kaduna In 2000, Flying Training Course at 401 FTS Mando, Kaduna and  Junior Division Staff Course 49/2000 at Armed Forces Command & Staff College, Jaji Kaduna.

In 2004 Basic Flying Training Course 403 FTS Kano and in 2006 Senior Division Staff Course at German National War College Hamburg, Germany and on return was appointed Acting Commanding Officer Support at 053 Camp Abuja.

In 2007, he was made the Officer Commanding Turbo-Prop Engineering Overhaul Centre (TPEOC) AT 531 Air Craft Maintenance Depot (ACMD) Ikeja.

2009, Aviation Theory Teachers Course at Air Force Aviation University, China came back to be the Engineering Control Officer (ECO) at 201 Heavy Airlift Group (HAG), Ikeja.

2010, Local Training on the L-39 Aircraft at 403 Flying Training School (FTS) Kano and became instructor & Engineering Control Officer at 201 Heavy Airlift Group (HAG), Ikeja ,2011, Aircraft Maintenance Management Course at Kingston University London  he became Commanding Officer (CO) TPEOC) at 531 ACMD Ikeja, CO 32 Logistics Wing at 403 FTS , Kano, CO 21 Logistics Wing at 201 HAG Ikeja. 

In 2012, he proceeded on Technical Ground Course for L-39 Aircraft at Int’l Jets Facility, Gadsden, Atlanta.

In 2014, became a Participant at National Defence College Cse 23/14 at Abuja, Nigeria

On his return, he was appointed the Production and Planning Manager at Aeronautical Engineering & Technical Services Limited, Nigeria Air Force Holdings Abuja.

He retired as a Group Captain of the Nigeria Air Force in 2018.
